GP-led adult ADHD care

Keep your ADHD care going, without the trip every time

Live along the mountain line, from Glenbrook, Blaxland and Springwood to Leura, Katoomba and the villages beyond? You know what a city appointment takes: the drive down the Great Western Highway or the long train trip, a day off work and paid parking. It is a big reason many mountains residents let their check-ups slip.

My ADHD GP is the ADHD service of Rosedale Medical Practice, a GP practice in West Pennant Hills caring for patients since 1997. It is AGPAL accredited against the RACGP Standards. Our GPs look after adults with ADHD.

  • One GP-led path for adults along the mountain line
  • In person first, then most visits by video
  • We apply for NSW Health approval if needed
  • Your regular GP kept in the loop

What My ADHD GP offers people in the Mountains

We offer continuation prescribing for adults who already have a formal ADHD diagnosis. You do not need a referral to book. One thing up front: a script is never guaranteed. The doctor decides on treatment after seeing you. Read more on our ADHD continuation prescribing page, or read about our ADHD diagnosis service in NSW.

GP roles depend on training and authority. Continuation prescribers care for people already diagnosed and stable on medication. Endorsed prescribers can assess and start treatment within their authorised scope. At My ADHD GP, adult assessments are with Dr Jas Saini; our wider GP team provides ongoing care.

How telehealth works when you are up the mountain

The Blue Mountains is a long string of towns, not one place. So video check-ups make good sense, after your first visit. You book online, come in once to West Pennant Hills to meet one of our GPs, then join secure video calls at your booked time. If you need blood tests or a blood pressure check, these can usually be done near you, at a pathology centre or GP in Katoomba, Springwood or Blaxland. Learn more about ADHD telehealth across NSW.

Who this suits and what to bring

Continuation prescribing suits adults with a formal ADHD diagnosis who want ongoing care without lots of trips to Sydney. For your first visit, bring your diagnosis papers. Bring the name and dose of any current or past ADHD medicine. Also bring your regular GP’s details, so we can keep them in the loop.

Costs in brief

We are a private service. You always see the fee before you book through HotDoc. Fees include HotDoc’s $2.45 booking fee. Full details are on our pricing page.
