Why we started
ADHD care shouldn’t be this hard to find.
Too many adults in NSW wait months for ADHD care. Some lose it when a psychiatrist retires or they move town.
We built My ADHD GP so a local GP clinic could look after that care for the long run. We take our time, explain things in plain words, and make decisions with you, not for you.

Questions
Common questions
Do you diagnose ADHD, or only continue care?
Both. If you already have a diagnosis, we can continue your care. If you don’t, you can book an adult ADHD assessment. You don’t need a referral.
What happens after my first visit?
Your first visit is in person in West Pennant Hills. After that, most visits can be by video anywhere in NSW, if it’s safe and right for you.
You’ll need a usual GP we can work with, and we may need to get a NSW Health approval for you. Any script is your doctor’s decision and isn’t guaranteed. Your prescribing clinician will confirm the required in-person review interval under the applicable NSW requirements.
Are you a real GP clinic?
Yes. My ADHD GP is part of Rosedale Medical Practice, a GP-owned clinic in West Pennant Hills, accredited against the RACGP Standards. Our GPs are RACGP Fellows with extra training in ADHD.
Do you see people from all over NSW?
Yes. Your first visit is at our clinic. After that, most visits can be by video, including from the Hunter, the Illawarra and regional NSW.
My psychiatrist closed their books, or I moved. Can you help?
Often, yes. Bring your original diagnosis report. Our GPs can review it and, if it’s right for you, continue your care.
For psychologists and GPs
Refer a patient to our team
We work with local psychologists and GPs to start and continue ADHD treatment. A psychologist’s diagnostic report is enough for us to review. No GP referral is needed. We write back to you after every first visit.
